Each of these brave individuals felt prepared to share their most vulnerable selves—at the pinnacle of the ICE raids in the Denver area.

We gathered at eTown Hall in Boulder to announce Shoebox Stories, a national podcast. Season One features the voices and experiences of DACA-mented and undocumented individuals, in conversation with national and international leaders.

Kiara traveled to New York City to meet with Gloria Steinem; Cristian recorded an episode with Jorge Ramos, and Reydesel recorded with Nicholas Kristof. Musical artists such as Yo-Yo Ma have also participated in the podcast, recording original music in response to these bold humans’ beautiful stories.
